“ I was at work craving fried chicken when my coworker said I have a spot for you and I promise you gone love it! She brought back 2 pieces of fried chicken and okra. Normally I take a picture for my reviews but sorry yall I tasted the okra and forgot all about a pic. The okra was cooked & seasoned just right. It was still hot I couldn't eat it as fast as I wanted to, lol. Ok so let's talk about this fried chicken. I had a breast and a thigh. When I say the breast was SO juicy I was truly impressed because most restaurants dry chicken breast out. As far as taste, my pallet was truly happy. It was seasoned with no need to add hot sauce or anything. I mean you can tell somebody granny taught them how to fry chicken like a scoop of butter was in the grease or the chicken was dipped in some buttermilk before it hit the flour in a paper brown sack. So YES, it's definitely that home cooked fried chicken. I told my friend when they come in town I have a spot we have to go to. I was truly impressed and definitely recommend. Someone need to tell Food Network to add Magic City Grille to Guy's Triple D. Next time I'll try to remember to take food pics. ”

“ So, the meal was good. To the cooks, great work. The line workers were bland, appropriate. They’re youthful, so you expect vibrancy, smile, cheerful, come on like what you’re doing. It’s okay, I understand everyone doesn’t have a great day all the time, but generally smile with enthusiasm. Overall, thanks for being open and thriving, the community need to have options to have a tasty meal; especially since cracker Barrell fell off in Bessemer. Y’all better keep improving & represent. You never know how far a delicious meal will take you! Prep your team for success! Food Network, Large commercial catering, event catering, it’s unlimited! I just wanted to spread some positivity! “ I DoorDashed it today and it was better than I expected. The yams were sweet, even though I like them sweeter. The meatloaf was firm and seasoned well. Lima beans and cabbage were good too. The banana pudding was good and a huge amount for the price. ”

I eat here 3 times a week for breakfast, steak, eggs, hash browns, chicken and rice. My favs and don't forget the real kool-aid! Love it! ”

“ Just left Magic City Grille and ordered for the first time. I am HOOKED! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I went at around 11:30 for lunch. I got whiting fish, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The staff is so friendly. My special requests were followed perfectly. Good customer service is valued by me! I will definitely be back! UPDATE!!!! If you have not tried the steak bagel here, RUN!!!! Best I EVER had!!! ”
